1. Who we are
Traffic Masala (the "game") is a mobile game published by SuperServe ("we", "us"), app id
com.superserve.masala on Google Play and the App Store. This policy explains what information is
collected when you play the game or visit this website, why, and the choices you have. For any privacy question,
write to monkugames@gmail.com.
2. What is collected
Information we do not collect
We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, microphone, camera or precise location. There is no sign-up, login or chat in the game.
Information stored only on your device
Your game progress (rupees, rides you own, upgrades, cosmetics, missions, best scores, settings such as sound and music, and your consent choices) is saved locally on your phone. We cannot see it. It is erased when you uninstall the game or clear its data.
Information collected automatically by third-party services
| Data | Collected by | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID (Android AAID / iOS IDFA, only if you allow tracking), IP address, device model, OS version, language, app version | Google AdMob | Showing ads, measuring them, preventing fraud, and personalising ads where you consented |
| Ad interactions (ads shown, watched, clicked, rewards earned) | Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics | Paying out rewards, ad measurement, deciding how often ads appear |
| App instance ID, game events (for example a run or race ending, its mode, distance and score, purchases started or completed), session length, country derived from IP | Firebase Analytics | Understanding which parts of the game are played, balancing and improving it |
| Crash reports and stack traces, device state at the time of a crash, Crashlytics installation ID | Firebase Crashlytics | Finding and fixing bugs |
| Purchase records (product, price, time, order ID) | Google Play / Apple App Store | Processing in-app purchases and restoring them |
Firebase Analytics in the game is configured with ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation turned off: analytics data is used to improve the game, not to target advertising.
3. Third-party services
These providers process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services
- Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics: Privacy and Security in Firebase
- Google Play billing: Google Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store: Apple Privacy Policy
- Ad networks that AdMob works with through mediation, where enabled: list of ad technology providers
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except these service providers.
4. Ads and your choices
- Rewarded ads are always your choice: you tap a button such as DOUBLE or FREE ₹ to watch one.
- Interstitial ads may appear between rides, never during a race or a run. Buying NO FORCED ADS turns them off.
- Consent. Ads stay off during your first session. Before any ad is requested, players in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws see Google's consent message, where you can accept, refuse or manage ad personalisation. You can change that choice at any time in the game under Settings > PRIVACY OPTIONS.
- iPhone tracking. On iOS the game asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalised with it. You can change this in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Android. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- You can also control personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
5. In-app purchases
Traffic Masala is free to play and offers optional purchases (rupee packs, a starter pack and NO FORCED ADS). Payments are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive your card, UPI or bank details; we only receive confirmation of which product was bought so the game can deliver it.
6. How data is used, and our legal bases
- To run the game and deliver purchases and rewards (performance of our agreement with you).
- To show ads that keep the game free, and personalised ads where you consented (consent, or legitimate interests for non-personalised ads where the law allows).
- To understand gameplay and fix crashes (legitimate interests in keeping the game working and improving it).
- To comply with the law and app-store rules.
7. How long data is kept
Data on your device stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Firebase Analytics keeps user-level event data for no more than 14 months. Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days. Google keeps advertising data according to its own retention policies.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU/UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and US state privacy laws such as California's CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Because we hold no account and no name or email for you, the quickest way to use most of these rights is with the in-game and device controls above. For anything else, write to monkugames@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Deleting your data
To erase everything stored on your phone, uninstall Traffic Masala or clear its app data. To ask for deletion of analytics and crash data held in Firebase, email monkugames@gmail.com with the subject "Traffic Masala data deletion"; see Delete my data for the steps. Purchases are recorded by Google or Apple and are managed through your store account.
10. Children
Traffic Masala is made for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security and international transfers
Data sent to Google services is encrypted in transit. Google may process it on servers outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reputable providers and collect as little as we can.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the game or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and significant changes will be noted in the game's store listing. Questions, requests or complaints:
